Guzzle doesn't look that bad. It looks like requests from Python, but you have to create a client first.
> $client = new Client(['base_uri' => 'http://httpbin.org']); http://httpbin.org']);
> $response = $client->get('http://httpbin.org/get'); http://httpbin.org/get');
