This makes me think of John Scalzi's The Ghost Brigades. I wonder how far it is between mapping thoughts to being able to map someone's memories and consciousness. If such a thing is even possible at all.
- wang_li 10y agoIn current MRI images of the brain, a million different data points are reduced to a single pixel in the image. Absent some kind of dramatic breakthrough in science, we are a long ways from being able to resolve individual data points inside of a person's brain.
