Unfortunately, I was afraid to talk to her, ask her to hang out after work, etc., because I was terrified she'd think I have a crush on her and was hitting on her. The funny thing is sometimes, for me, this has turned into a self-fulfilling prophecy, and suddenly I'm into them. It's modulated by how furiously I worry about it.
