It's always good to see options out there. But honestly, having being working with Hashicorp's Vault for a while (https://www.vaultproject.io/ https://www.vaultproject.io/) I really don't see the need for it. Vault is extremely simple to setup and has many more advanced features without sacrificing functionality. There is also Keywhiz (https://square.github.io/keywhiz/single_page.html https://square.github.io/keywhiz/single_page.html) which also provides a nifty FUSE abstraction.
