I don't think the ksplice article was really about a way to "not segfault" from dereferencing a null pointer, but this ended up being a nice, short exposition on handling signals anyway.
- waratuman 17y agoAgreed, the code was a clear example of how to handle signals. I could understand it even though I haven't even dealt with signals before.
