- kalleboo 10y agoThe shortcut was invented by a Microsoft and came to browsers through IE. Firefox only does it by default on Windows and Safari has never supported it AFAIK
- rbut 10y agoNot true. Safari used to support it and it was removed in Safari 6. I remember when it was removed; I had been an avid user of the shortcut for many years. It hurt at first, but after a bit of getting over the muscle memory, I don't miss it at all now. To everyone complaining; let it go, our browsers are better off without it.
