A module that has exported module members allowing you to opt-in to future breaking changes now could be added to PowerShell, similar to how Python has from future import [whatever]. So you could remove curl and wget aliases by adding Import-Module Future.RemoveAliases.Net.Http to your profile, or even opt-in to all future breaking changes by adding Import-Module Future to your profile.
