It's rather a shame that the author of this site has chosen to be anonymous; I should like to understand why they choose to reject a number of points generally considered best practice in software engineering, regardless of programming language: patterns; frameworks; library reuse; standards bodies etc. This unfortunately sounds like the cry of a programmer who has worked on their own for years suddenly encountering the requirements of working with a team of coders.
