Isn't there a third way? make the PS versions of curl and wget adhere exactly to the original interface/specs?
- emodendroket 10y agoThat'd introduce the same kind of breaking changes and wouldn't fit with the PS model.
- jboons 10y agoThis would be difficult to do unless you can tell which alias you are coming from in `Invoke-JsonRequest`.
- JeffreySnover 10y agoYes but I think the better solution is to fix the alias problem and then work with Daniel to make it super simple for people on Windows to get his latest/greatest bits. I've reached out to him to start that conversation. Jeffrey Snover [MSFT]
