I'm surprised Hamburg is the highest rated German city. I haven't spent much time in the country, so maybe some natives can educate me. Köln, Stuttgart, Dresden, and München were far more enjoyable.

- musha68k 10y agoHamburg is much less conservative than all of the ones you listed, could be that they are too "Deutsch" for the economist ;)
- Nutomic 10y agoI'm really surprised that Berlin isn't mentioned. Admittedly, I haven't spent much time in other German cities, but Berlin should be the best in cost of living and also in startups.
