I don't know how recently you've played with pinmux on Linux, but my understanding is the pinctrl subsystem should handle runtime muxing without wetting the bed. What issues did you run into?
- nbadg 10y agoI honestly don't remember; it was more than 18 months ago. I may have even eventually gotten it working through pinctrl, but I vaguely remember having to do something with device trees and rebooting or something. No, I take that back, I definitely remember having to do something with device tree compilation, because I remember having to rewrite someone else's utility or... but that may have been a separate tool entirely... I have no idea. If I remember right, that was all also very version-dependent and rapidly changing. I had two boards with two different kernel versions and everything was just a total catastrophe there (until I accidentally fried one, and then that particular problem... sorta solved itself)
