- gambiting 10y agoHelsinki can get as low as -30C in winter. I don't know if you've ever experienced it, but if it's -15, -20C or lower, you really don't want to be walking or cycling anywhere, the cold just bites through any clothing and it's really uncomfortable on your face.
- ptaipale 10y agoIn -20C, I prefer biking to buses. (I live in Helsinki region). You generate some heat when you ride, while when waiting for a bus...
