Oh, so it's my privilege if some parents fuck up at telling their kids how important education is and mine didn't? What a strange way to reason. Everyone complains about privilege but nobody takes responsibility for mistakes. The only people who have my sympathy in those regards are the working poor, that is, people who have to hold multiple jobs, more than full-time, just to get by and not starve. These are the people whose potential to excel in mathematics (or anything, really) is undermined.
