I use Inbox, which parses trip itinerary emails. I recently took a trip to London from the US and ran into an issue with a connecting flight, it was delayed by several hours. My Android phone, with Google Now, alerted me to the delay before I received any communications from my booking agent. It also listed multiple alternative flights by the same airline which were up to an hour and a half earlier than my delayed flight, saving me a lot of time and frustration as I was able to easily contact the airline and change my flight for free. Does Google know all about me and my cats? Sure. Do I care? Does that scare me? Nope. The pros have thus far greatly outweighed the cons.
