I've been recently reading stock reports from some of my banking friends (and actually chatted with some staff at AMD) because I'm curious about the turnaround. Don't own equity yet. Just last year AMD looked to be in very dire straights, and are still operating at a loss. Is the consensus that they are going to survive now?
