I pay for dropbox and they do that to me, as well. Why would I want to be a business customer if I'm a paid normal user?
Somewhat annoying but maybe it's working for them.
- sdegutis 10y agoI doubt it's actually helping them at all. If anything, they just don't notice, because their business is primarily made up of Dropbox for Business accounts, so even if a paid personal user like me leaves because it's that's so annoying, they're not hurt by it at all. But even then, I rarely use their web interface, so it's not enough to push me away.
