Here's a question I've been thinking about, regarding weirdly-formatted dumps and text:
I'd like to use a couple of different Wiktionaries for a multi-lingual translation project, but people check the semantics of the Wiktionary page visually instead of via markup-analysis (assisted by the editing tools).
Know of any attempts to get semantic information from lots of Wiktionaries' dumps?
- epi0Bauqu 17y agoYeah, I've done a bit of this, and a lot more from Wikipedia. In short, it's a mess. I'd suggest messing with Global Wordnet instead: http://www.globalwordnet.org/ http://www.globalwordnet.org/, unless you've already tried that and discarded it :)
