Perhaps a better title would be "Why It Doesn't Pay to Hide Your Emotions". Anyway, I'm hearing the whole stance of "everything is good, I'm so happy" is a cultural thing, very common in the US but not so in the rest of the world (Europe especially). I wonder to what extent this is true and how does it affect people's well being.
