Wonder how does Firefox compare with it and what steps it is taking in this direction?
- kijin 10y agoFirefox plans to make Flash "click-to-play" by default sometime in 2017. This is similar to Chrome's plan. https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2016/07/20/reducing-adobe-flash-usage-in-firefox/ https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2016/07/20/reducing-... Meanwhile, it's pretty easy to force Firefox to apply this policy right now. Just go to the Plugins screen and select "Ask to activate" for Flash. I've been using Firefox like this for over two years, and have never been happier with my web experience.
