Printer support (as an example) worked much better with Linux (Fedora) than my MacBook.
On the Mac I had know the IP address, download a driver myself, fiddle around with it.
On Fedora, it said it found this printer, installed the driver, and whether I wanted to print a test page. The test page printed fine.
That was a while ago, and things may have changed. But it's not the only example. With OSX I am boxed into what Apple thinks is best for me. With Linux I can do whatever I like, while most things also just work.
None of the issues you mention are an issue with Linux anymore. Wifi, Bluetooth, printers, sound, video, etc, all just work, most (IMHO) more intuitively than with OSX.
Only for faster 3D graphics I had to install the vendor driver from a non-free Fedora repository.

With my last 2 computers and Ubuntu, most of the devices listed above has required me to google for solutions and apply weird hacks manually. Sound has been quite reliable but graphics and wifi drivers are still a joke compared to Windows or osx. Even basic things such as plugging in an external monitor has caused the computer to totally freeze.
