I guess I do not see the point of UBI, if not the total elimination of other social programs.
- dragonwriter 10y agoA major point of UBI is to eliminate (or reduce) adverse incentives inherent in means-tested social benefit programs; it can easily do this while replacing only some existing means-tested social benefit programs, leaving other social benefit programs (means tested and otherwise) in place.
