I haven't yet gifted a copy of Robert Anton Wilson's and Robert Shea's "The Illuminatus! Triology", but I want to. This book strikes the fine balance of being funny and mindblowingly weird at the same time. Great fun.
- kqr 10y agoI started reading this when I was very young and then eventually trailed off. Thanks for reminding me I gotta try again!
- grafelic 10y agoYou're welcome! My approach to this book was to stop thinking too much about the numerous "plot lines" and just go with the flow. The fact that I bought the book in a second-hand bookstore in Berkeley and read most of it while exploring the Californian coast, probably put me in that mindset from the get-go. :)
