I use Apple Macintosh because, despite the various bugs, it is an outstanding operating system and works extremely well and is built on Unix. Ive followed operating systems closely for more then 30 years and frankly no company or open source effort managed to make anything as good as OSX in a whole range of ways. I don't care much about principles - Apple made the best OS so I use it. If you want me to use something else then it has to be at least as good.
