I just dropped off my 15" rMBP for service. The work order showed the purchase date: May 2013. Wow. It's an i7 w/ 16GB RAM and an SSD. I had no idea it was that old but I'm a little surprised the specs don't feel that outdated. I mean, don't get me wrong. If I were to replace it I don't want to pay top dollar for old hardware. Makes me wonder if  has something brewing the the desktop space.
