yeah, it pretty much was the marketing as the mac book now being like the air (even probably replacing the air), just with retina, better battery lifetime (LOL) and latest generation tech... should I have done more due diligence - YES (but you know, once your beloved air gets the kids&coke treatment you tend to panic), am I owning now a piece of chunk I can't wait to get rid of (with the hopefully coming soon mac book pro generation) - YES
