Tiny minor remark (which sometimes happens to me, too).
Instead of:
//If the password matches, return true
if password == passwordFromDB {
return true
}
//by default return false
return false
This could simply be put as:
//If the password matches, return true
//by default return false
return password == passwordFromDB
