Perhaps it would help to NOT damage your liver, which has a side effect of lowering your inhibitions. For some reason, the author seems to be OK with intoxication to the point of causing damage.
- daenney 10y agoI think what they meant to say is that this is part of what people expect as part of tech events. Regardless of the alcohol abuse, sexual harassment and such aren't expected to be part of conferences. I agree with the sentiment though. We could do with more restrained alcohol consumption at tech events, it would improve quite a few things.
