  He's only saying that because of cost and size. If you could add this package to a Tesla for 10 dollars per unit it would be stupid not to.

  Much like Steve Jobs said no one wanted to watch video on a tiny screen until the day he introduced an iPod that could play videos. When LIDAR is cheap enough, Elon will forget all about RADAR and cameras.
