It seems like Hampton Creek has basically sent them a jar of Mayo for $5 and then turned around and bought it back from them for $10. (I'm making these numbers up but I'm assuming the stores aren't selling this Mayo at a loss.) Stores should be happy to do that all day long. edit: I guess part of the reason they did this was to deceive the stores into giving them more shelf space. I could see that rubbing stores the wrong way.
