Was a pain to setup but we used to do it that way before we all went out and bought some IPX compatible network cards.
- wolrah 10y agoThat's slightly different, in that Starcraft's system used RS232 in a standard point-to-point fashion. If you wanted to play with three or four people you had to daisy-chain and the one or two in the middle were effectively acting as routers. This is hacking RS232 in to a bus network more or less.
