You take the rest home and have it as a second meal.
- enraged_camel 10y agoI think it still causes people to overeat, though. Most people ask for a takeout box only after they stuff themselves really full and realize they won't be able to finish the serving.

- adiabatty 10y agoFood is cheap compared to the costs of prepping and cooking and serving it, so restaurants have an incentive to sell you more food to ensure you feel like you got a good deal.
