I had somewhat similar feelings about the taxes (different company) (went from $7M to < $2 over the 6 month lockup period alone!) Ended up paying a bunch of taxes i likely could have avoided and got something out of it (but it was painful) Now over 10 years on after the "corrections / bubble burst" I'm finally about back where I started ... oh well I guess. I have a house and a job and all my limbs ...
