Less IFs, More Power
- Freak_NL 10y agoI am not really sure about the message this campaign is trying to send. Why is IF capitalized? Use fewer if-statements? Fine, but show some concrete examples of bad code and common pitfalls, and the suggestions that demonstrate how to get cleaner code. As it is their website feels a bit lacking in information. This is probably the worst part of their monster example: List aree = ar.getAree(); Area area = null; for (int i = 0; i < aree.size(); i++) { area = (Area) aree.get(i); It's not the few if-statements (come on, we've all seen worse) that scare me, rather the horrible variable names! (Also, if this is indeed Java, the lack of type parameter on that List).
