  That was just when they were brainstorming new ideas. The emphasis was also on the team lead enforcing this policy, which is definitely achievable if you are a good manager. In all I thought this sounds extremely effective, especially compared to how they started i.e. "meandering product meetings where we didn’t write down our decisions".
