There are plenty of wonderful places in the UK outside of London that are considerably cheaper. If you’re a freelancer, there might not be any need for you to live in The City.
- harrybr 17y agoI'd second that. London is a city best enjoyed when wealthy. There are lots of other lively cities and towns in the UK to consider. Brighton, for example, is only a 60 minute train ride out of London, and it has a thriving geek scene. Most events are free and everything is in walking distance.
