It uses Chromes speech to text api. But I don't know, if it could compete with https://cloud.google.com/speech/ https://cloud.google.com/speech/. There is no training involved/possible. The spoken Texts need to be corrected. That is why I integrated a grammar and spelling checker. But you will usually have to do some editing.
