So I had this discussion in another group today, and I guess one point that no one brought here is the fact that some people/managers/companies faces software engineering as an art. Under this point of view, we should compare software engineering with painters, musicians, writers. Isn't it expected from this guys to "breath" their areas even when they are "not working"? I'm not saying that I agree with that point of view. Just adding another point of view to the discussion. * credits are not mine.
