Since when are high taxes a problem for startups? Most of them don't generate any profits to be taxed. :) I run a "normal" profitable software business in Germany and taxes + compulsory levies are really a burden here. But some VC funded startup that won't generate one penny for the next 5 years? They don't care about taxes. If taxes were something to consider startups would keep far away from Berlin.
