- homero 10y agoRev 2 is already out and mine has spring terminals and a Duracell battery. But the case must be cracked open
- ecaron 10y agoDid you do a successful swap of the battery? Are there any markings on the case that designate it being a Rev1 or Rev2 battery?
- homero 10y agoYes and yes https://mpetroff.net/2016/07/new-amazon-dash-button-teardown-jk29lp/ https://mpetroff.net/2016/07/new-amazon-dash-button-teardown... New one also uses 4x less power, cheaper battery lasts twice as long
- yardie 10y agoThe outer case is fused together and the battery inside is smothered in cement. From the photo, it looks like trying to remove it also destroys a bit of the plastic cradle. And at $4.99 a piece there are better, cheaper ways to do things.
