- monorailz 10y agoMaybe DesktopBSD? http://www.desktopbsd.net/ http://www.desktopbsd.net/ I dunno, I haven't used it but others have said that it's a simple install. I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad to run a FreeBSD laptop and don't feel that the amount of work I had to do to get it to a useful state was all that different from the amount of work with Fedora on my desktop computer but I've been using both FreeBSD and various Linux distros for several years and don't know your amount of previous experience with either FreeBSD or Linux so YMMV.
