- dogma1138 10y agoThat's because the salt water penetrates deep into the land due to the topography of the Netherlands. There Dutch have practiced salt water farming and management for a long time. That said you can't drink salt water ;)
- witty_username 10y agoStrictly speaking you can drink salt water. But it wouldn't hydrate you since you would still be thirsty.
- CydeWeys 10y agoC'mon, everyone knows what drinkable water is. You can technically also drink boiling water, or battery acid for that matter, but nobody would classify those under the category "drinkable liquids" which is what we're talking about here.
