Wow, every single comment here misses the fact this advice is coming from the CEO and founder and is for other CEO/founders. I don't think he is telling some Jr. Marketing Associate to do this, but rather as a founder you have to think outside of the box sometimes and giving up money for a stronger long-term partnership is one of doing that.
