As a tech guy turned lawyer turned tech guy, I loved this. It's a really creative solution to mitigate hurt feelings over contract terms. Yeah it's a small term when conceding a big one, but it goes beyond dollars to something that's really important to smaller companies building relationships. EDIT: I've read some of the other comments and I don't think I love it - I still like it though. I'm just not in love with it :)
