From this image of the structure (http://cen.acs.org/content/dam/cen/94/31/09431-notw4-Lugdunin.jpg http://cen.acs.org/content/dam/cen/94/31/09431-notw4-Lugduni...) it looks very much like some kind of small pore. That's a total guess, of course, but a cyclic peptide with alternating chirality looks reasonable, although a little small at only 7 residues.
