`go get` has to change for proper vendoring in Go. Right now its such a mess. Go needs a bundler like functional. e.g go bundle which will read a Gemfile like file to install your external packages. I hope this comes before the end of the year. This has been put on the back burner for too long and I can understand GC was priority but now GC is very good.
