Some of these audio examples remind me of a long night my freshman year at MIT, when at around 7 AM, in delirium, my friend and I wrote a few hundred lines of code in Matlab, yes Matlab, to procedurally generate music by probabilistically moving from chord to chord based off of the frequency of such changes in real music. Added some bass for counterpoint and some terrible percussion synthesized from white noise and we had what we believed to be some real bangers.
