Twitter's Famous Racist Problem
- SixSigma 10y agoNo mention of "Pigs in Blankets" - celebrating the recent murders of police [1] Of course there won't be much done about that because Dorsey is friends with BLM leader Deray Mckesson. They shared a stage to talk about free speech on Twitter back in June, this is what they came up with : > “I believe we need to build a platform that respects and amplifies every voice in a way that the world needs to hear it. I trust that the world will amplify and retweet and have conversations where appropriate.” [2] Twitter seems to claim that they control the narrative, setting themselves up as the arbitrators of what the world needs to here and what is and isn't appropriate. I think that is a dangerous position business wise, no common carrier defence.
