I think the main reason I started using Apple Pay in my regular shopping is because paying with chip takes so long to process. Sometimes it can take 20-30 seconds for the chip transaction to complete at the grocery store, while Apple Pay takes 5 seconds or less. I really miss the speed of magstripe payments.
