The only analog I can think of is if you suddenly lost all your brake fluid, and in that instance the breaks would be useless.

- semi-extrinsic 10y agoBut all cars made after 1980 have dual circuit hydraulic brake systems, so you would need a sudden leak in two separate pipes simultaneously.
