- varjag 10y agoThere's still a cap on 48 hour a week however: https://www.gov.uk/overtime-your-rights/compulsory-overtime https://www.gov.uk/overtime-your-rights/compulsory-overtime and after that the employer must obtain signed consent of the employee, otherwise it is illegal. So the original point of "shaming into OT" stands.
